Growing up, Reed found meaning in the stories of the people around him.  Today, deep truths and songs continue to unfold out of personal relationships.

Something genuine is revealed in relationships.   Like when you catch up with an old friend after a long absence and you can tell without any words that they care.   That connection that cuts through the noise of busy superficial life like the whistle of a songbird.  Sharing moments that celebrate life, whether it's an embrace with a relative or chance meeting with a stranger in the checkout line. These are the moments that reveal what matters most.  These are encounters with the divine where we get to see the face and be the face of God all at once.

There is truth unfolding before us right now, in this generation.  It’s so close.  It’s so present.  It’s in you and every living thing.  The spirit of the divine has a voice.  It's calling us out of our loneliness and into community.  Out of prejudices and into inclusion.  Out our self-preservation and into the joy of sacrificial love.  This journey is something to talk about.  It's something to sing about.

Reed is Florida native, raised in Tampa.  In addition to singing and songwriting about following Jesus, he enjoys fishing, playing board games, and baking pizza every Friday night.  He is grateful to be partnered with an incredible wife Jeanette.  Together they are raising four incredibly fierce super-daughters.
